How To Break & Repair a Broken Object in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event

The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event offers numerous rewards, but acquiring them isn't straightforward. One particularly tricky challenge involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a solution.

Week 2's challenge requires raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher and then repairing a broken object. The difficulty lies in locating a broken item. To circumvent this, intentionally break an object. While "pranking" an item works, it requires a specific Sim trait. A simpler method is repeatedly using an item until it breaks.

The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive option. Repeated use (approximately a dozen times) will cause it to malfunction, fulfilling the "broken object" requirement. This can be done by your Sim or by having guests use the toilet.

Repairing the broken object is simple once your Handiness skill reaches level 2. Select the "Repair" option on the broken toilet. After a short time, the repair is complete, and the challenge is cleared.
