If you're as blown away by the animation in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse as I am, and constantly wonder what you've been doing with your life while studios like BUCK keep hitting home runs with projects like Love, Death + Robots and Secret Level, you'll be thrilled to hear about their latest venture. The award-winning animation and design studio behind these masterpieces has now launched its game development branch, BUCK Games.
BUCK Games made its debut alongside Netflix Games' The Electric State: Kid Cosmo, a unique game that intertwines with the film's narrative. This isn't BUCK's first step into gaming, though. They previously released the colorful roguelite puzzler Let’s! Revolution!, showcasing their versatility and creativity.
With over two decades of experience in animation and design, working with high-profile clients like Apple, Riot Games, and Microsoft, BUCK's portfolio speaks volumes. It's exciting to anticipate that their future mobile game releases under BUCK Games will maintain, if not exceed, their renowned quality.
Michael Highland, Creative Director of BUCK Games, shared insights on their latest project: “Developing a game connected to a larger world was a new challenge, and demanded adaptability and ingenuity from our team. We set out with an ambitious, unconventional vision, and our partners pushed us to make it the best version possible.”
While you wait for more from BUCK Games, you can dive into The Electric State: Kid Cosmo on Netflix or explore other top Netflix games.
