How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Your journey to the cat island will take you to the Omi region, which you'll reach around the midpoint of the story. Ensure your characters are well-prepared and powered up before heading northeast toward Omi.

Your destination is Lake Biwa, a large body of water central to the Omi region. To reach the island, it's highly recommended to find a boat, available at the settlements of Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, you can swim across the lake.

Head to the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, just northwest of Azuchi. Upon arrival, you'll discover Okishima, featuring a Kakurega where you can rest. Look out for the fish drying near the docks, indicating the presence of cats.

To immerse yourself in the feline population, move northwards toward the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter more cats. Don't forget to pet them to add them to your collection for use in the Hideout, especially the rare kittens that are difficult to find elsewhere.

While Leaps of Faith typically unlock new locations on your map, the real treasure on Okishima is the companionship of these feline friends. After exploring and landing in the haystack, there isn't much left to do but enjoy the cats. You'll also revisit Okishima later in Yasuke's story.
