The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young man who gains a new lease on life after striking a deal with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This pact grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to Reze, a significant character from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the story.
