When it comes to Ndemic Creation's iconic disease-spreading sim, Plague Inc, one of the most challenging scenarios was the Necroa Virus. This undead-creating disease required you to convert the entire world's populace into, well, zombies. But have you ever wondered what happened after that scenario?
Well, Ndemic are glad to answer that question with their upcoming release, After Inc. Rather than focusing on destroying the world or managing other real-world scenarios, hypothetical or otherwise, After Inc puts you in the shoes of the few remaining survivors of the Necroa Virus.
You'll need to rebuild civilization from the ground up, managing the demands of your people and balancing out the necessity of survival with the desire to create a brighter tomorrow. Whether that's balancing Democracy and Authoritarianism, or deciding whether dogs are better off as food than friends, you'll have to make tough choices to survive natural threats and the ever-looming zombie menace.
After the endIt's not hard to see the inherent appeal in something like After Inc, and with the pedigree that Ndemic have crafted over the years developing and updating both Plague Inc and their various spin-offs, it's interesting to see them return to the universe and exploring the after-effects of those hypothetical pandemic scenarios.
While we don't have an official release date just yet, I'd hazard a guess that we won't be rebuilding civilization until next year at the earliest. But still, suffice it to say I'm especially excited about this release. So be sure to check in as pre-registration is available right now for After Inc on iOS and Android!
