Mouse acceleration is a major detriment in shooters, and Marvel Rivals is no exception. The game defaults to mouse acceleration with no in-game option to disable it. Here's how to fix that.
Since the game lacks an in-game setting, you'll need to edit a configuration file. It's easy; just follow these steps:

%localappdata%, and press Enter.[/Script/Engine.InputSettings]
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
bViewAccelerationEnabled=False
Now mouse acceleration should be disabled, resulting in improved aim.
It's also crucial to disable mouse acceleration within Windows settings:
Mouse acceleration alters your sensitivity based on mouse movement speed. Fast movements result in high sensitivity, slow movements in low sensitivity. While convenient for general use, this inconsistency is detrimental to aiming in games like Marvel Rivals. Consistent sensitivity is key to developing muscle memory and improving accuracy.
With mouse acceleration disabled, your aim will be far more precise and consistent.
Marvel Rivals is available now on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
