The Blast from the Past event in *The Sims 4* is sending players on another exciting quest to unlock the latest set of rewards. Thankfully, there's a straightforward way to locate the resources the game is hiding. Here's where to find Plathinum and Ironyum in *The Sims 4*.
For those who are ready to dive into the "Echoes of Time" portion of the Blast from the Past Week 2 quests, there's another set called "Inventing the Past." This set is similar to its predecessors, requiring you to hunt down items for Emit. This time, you're on the hunt for two resources: Plathinum and Ironyum. Fortunately, this search is straightforward because you already know the drill.
Finding Plathinum and Ironyum is easy because it follows the same process as finding the Special Time Capsule. Head to an area where rocks and dirt mounds are common, such as a park, and pause the game to scan the area. Once you spot what you're looking for, walk over and start digging. It might take a few attempts, but you'll eventually uncover Plathinum and Ironyum, unlocking the next quest to build the Time Travel Component.
If you're struggling to find rocks or dirt mounds, you can speed up time to make them appear quicker. Just be mindful not to stay in that state too long, or you might miss your chance to dig up the resources.
