E.R.P.O. boasts a thrilling lineup of dangerous and eerie monsters, but unlike other survival horror games like Pressure, you're not left defenseless. You can fight back using specific tactics and employ survival strategies to tackle even the toughest foes. Below is my comprehensive guide on how to survive all E.R.P.O. monsters.
New monsters are continually being added to E.R.P.O., so it's wise to bookmark this page for the latest updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on each monster. While there are general strategies, you can also use weapons to attack them:
Melee Combat: Equip yourself with weapons like the Machete or Hammer, available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These will spawn in your next level, and you can pick them up with M1 to swing at monsters. Be cautious around ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employ hit-and-run tactics to minimize damage, and carry healing packs for safety.
Grenades and Mines: Purchase these from the shop as well. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and then throw it or leave it on the ground to explode, dealing massive damage. Mines require placement and detonate when a monster steps on them, offering another strategic option.
Monster Brawl: Lure a Huntsman into shooting another monster by running behind it and making noise, either by walking or using Voice chat mode. The Huntsman's shot will hit the monster you're hiding behind. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into damaging each other during their attack animations.

The Robe is a large shadowy figure that you must avoid or it will grab and damage you upon contact. You can hide by crouching or keep it at bay by kiting it. For a more direct approach, use 2 Grenades or 2 Mines to kill it by baiting it towards you. Melee combat is not advised due to Robe's high damage output. Be aware that Robe teleports and accelerates towards you if you look at its mask.

The Reaper is a raggedy doll creature with sword-like arms that spin to damage you in melee. Like the Robe, it can be kited or avoided, but it does not teleport. It's more vulnerable to melee attacks since its damage is lower compared to Robe. It takes just one grenade and a couple of hits to take down, and grenades or mines can stun it momentarily.

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile and will follow you around unless provoked. They become aggressive if you grab them or if they are damaged by objects. Once enraged, they fly and bite, dealing low damage but relentlessly pursuing you. Your best strategy is to outrun them or use melee weapons for a quick dispatch. Grenades are overkill given their low health.

The Huntsman is a blind marksman who can one-shot you. He relies on sound, detecting you through Voice chat or fast movements. Crouch using C and hide under tables to evade him. Melee combat is risky due to his auto-aim and lethal shots. Instead, place a mine near his path or throw a grenade while crouched. The blast will deafen him for 6 seconds, giving you a window to attack with melee weapons.
That concludes my guide on all E.R.P.O. monsters. Don't forget to check out our E.R.P.O. codes for free in-game goodies and keep an eye on our upcoming class tier list.
