All Essences and How To Get Them in MySims

This retro MySims remake might require a refresher, whether you're a newcomer or a returning player from the Wii or DS versions. Essences are crucial for crafting items to fulfill requests from your Sims, so knowing their locations is vital.

What are Essences in MySims?

In MySims, Essences are collectible resources. Acquired through various activities, they serve as building blocks and paint ingredients in crafting. Many are gathered directly (apples, flowers), while others require specific interactions.

MySims Essences are categorized into Emotions, Living Things, and Objects. Each has a thematic link, and collecting the right ones ensures you create items that please your Sims. Most Essences function as physical objects or custom paint components in Build Mode.
