Fighting Fantasy: Eye of the Dragon DLC Out Now

Tin Man Games has introduced Eye of the Dragon to its Fighting Fantasy Classics collection, now available across all digital platforms including Android, iOS, and Steam for PC and Mac. This nostalgic dungeon crawl delivers a thrilling return to classic tabletop adventure gaming.

Marking Its Official Digital Premiere

This release marks the first availability of the title since 2010. Authored by Ian Livingstone, co-creator of the Fighting Fantasy series, Eye of the Dragon originally debuted in 2005 during the Wizard Books series revival.

The adventure actually traces its origins to a mini-quest from Dicing with Dragons. With this digital adaptation, Eye of the Dragon officially becomes the 19th installment in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.

Venture Into the Depths of Darkwood Forest

The adventure plunges players into a monster-ridden labyrinth beneath Darkwood Forest, challenging them to survive long enough to locate Allansia's most prized treasure - the Golden Dragon.

Your quest begins in Fang's tavern, where a mysterious stranger presents a life-changing opportunity - at the potential cost of drinking a possibly lethal potion.

The dungeon teems with dangerous traps, magical artifacts, precious jewels, and numerous toothy creatures. Players may even encounter an imprisoned dwarf who could prove more significant than a typical NPC.

Enhanced Digital Gameplay Features

Tin Man Games has implemented several quality-of-life improvements for this digital edition. Players can adjust difficulty levels and utilize a Free Read mode for exploration without combat.

The version includes an auto-mapping function to prevent disorientation in the maze-like dungeon, along with unlimited bookmarks and an automated adventure sheet tracking character stats and equipment.

Joining a Legacy of Classic Adventures

Eye of the Dragon now stands alongside legendary titles like The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, and The Port of Peril, as well as other classics including Bloodbones and Forest of Doom.

Tin Man Games continues expanding its Fighting Fantasy Classics library. The game is available now on Google Play Store. For more gaming news, explore our coverage of Pikmin Bloom's Earth Day celebration.
