The highly anticipated hero shooter, FragPunk, developed by Bad Guitar, has hit a snag with its console release. Originally set to launch across all platforms on March 6, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are now facing an unexpected delay due to technical issues. Just two days before the planned release, the developers shared the disappointing news with eager console gamers, explaining that they need more time to iron out these unforeseen challenges. Although no new release date has been set for the console editions, Bad Guitar promises to keep the community informed every step of the way.
To soften the blow, Bad Guitar has announced that all console pre-orders will be eligible for compensation. Players can opt for a refund or receive in-game bonuses, including credits and rewards from the first season, which will be available once the console versions finally hit the market.
On a brighter note, the PC version of FragPunk remains on track and is set to launch as originally planned on March 6. PC gamers can look forward to diving into the action without any delay.
