Subway Surfers is set to launch an exciting new event named Veggie Hunt, where players will dash through the bustling cityscapes, evading trains, leaping over barriers, and snagging vegetables instead of the usual coins and boosts. This event kicks off on August 26th, bringing a healthy twist to the classic endless runner game.
During Veggie Hunt, you'll be collecting tomatoes, avocados, and lettuce. Gather enough veggies to assemble a complete sandwich, and you'll unlock a new character named Billy Bean. She's designed to inspire players, particularly kids, to embrace a diet rich in greens and support a more sustainable planet.
This initiative is part of Subway Surfers' contribution to the Playing for the Planet Alliance's 2024 Green Game Jam, an annual event where game developers creatively integrate environmental awareness into their games. This year's theme focuses on encouraging players to take tangible actions for the environment. SYBO, the creators of Subway Surfers, are participating by incorporating eco-friendly elements and sharing insightful facts about the environmental impact of our food choices within the game.
Subway Surfers doesn't stop at in-game features; they're also encouraging players to share their favorite meat-free recipes and homemade versions of the Veggie Hunt sandwich on social media. The more engagement, the more in-game rewards for everyone.
If you're eager to join the Veggie Hunt, download Subway Surfers from the Google Play Store. The event takes place in Sydney, Australia, as part of the game's World Tour, featuring new food-themed boards like Cook-Express and Veggie Velocity, available until September 15th.
Get ready to run, collect, and contribute to a healthier planet with Subway Surfers' Veggie Hunt!
