The PXN P5: A Universal Controller for All Your Gaming Needs?
PXN is launching the P5, a universal controller promising compatibility across a wide range of devices. This ambitious controller aims to bridge the gap between consoles, PCs, and even cars, but will it live up to the hype?
Mobile gaming often gets overlooked in the controller market, despite its popularity. While snap-on controllers exist, true cross-compatibility remains largely unexplored beyond basic Bluetooth. The PXN P5 aims to change that, boasting compatibility with everything from the Nintendo Switch to in-car systems and, of course, mobile. Tech specs include Dual Hall-effect magnetic joysticks and adjustable trigger sensitivity.
Priced at £29.99, the P5 will be available through PXN and Amazon. Compatibility includes: PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, Android TV, and surprisingly, Tesla.

The Challenge of Universality
PXN might be a relatively unknown brand to some, but the market for truly cross-compatible controllers, especially those encompassing mobile devices, is competitive. While dedicated smartphone controllers leave something to be desired, the P5's broad compatibility, particularly its Tesla integration, is intriguing, even if its target audience might be niche.
If this controller sparks a renewed interest in gaming, streaming might be a worthwhile consideration. For a simple streaming setup, you can check out our review of the Wavo POD Streamer Set!
