Unlike other Genshin Impact characters who require Stella Fortuna for talent upgrades, the Traveler operates differently. Instead of Stella Fortuna, the Traveler utilizes various region-specific items to unlock constellation levels, each corresponding to their current elemental alignment. For instance, when aligned with Anemo, the Traveler uses Memory of Roving Gales to progress through their constellation.

These unique items are acquired through different methods than Stella Fortunas, with six copies required to fully unlock all six constellation stars. Here's where to find each of these essential items.

The constellation items can be obtained in any order; following this guide's sequence is not mandatory.

Anemo Traveler: Memory of Roving Gales

When aligned with Anemo, the Traveler requires Memory of Roving Gales for constellation upgrades. Here are all acquisition methods:

  • Obtain one copy by completing "For a Tomorrow Without Tears" (Prologue Act II)
  • Earn another from completing Prologue Act III, "Song of the Dragon and Freedom"
  • The third, fourth, and fifth copies become available at Adventure Ranks 27, 37, and 46 respectively. Claim these rewards from Katheryne at the Adventurers' Guild upon reaching these milestones
  • The final Memory of Roving Gales can be purchased from Marjorie at With Wind Comes Glory souvenir shop for 225 Anemo Sigils

Geo Traveler: Memory of Immovable Crystals

Geo-aligned Travelers need Memory of Immovable Crystals for constellation advancement. These follow similar acquisition patterns with regional variations:

  • Receive the first copy after completing Chapter I Act II, "Farewell, Archaic Lord"
  • Obtain the second from finishing Chapter I Act III, "A New Star Approaches"
  • The remaining four are sold at Liyue Harbor's Mingxing Jewelry souvenir shop. Shopkeeper Xingxi offers them for 225 Geo Sigils each, totaling 900 Sigils for all four

Electro Traveler: Memory of Violet Flash

Electro-aligned Travelers utilize Memory of Violet Flash for constellation progression. Here's how to acquire them:

  • One reward from completing Chapter II Act II, "Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow"
  • Another earned upon finishing Chapter II Act III, "Omnipresence Over Mortals"
  • The final four obtained through Inazuma Statue of the Seven upgrades at these levels:
    • Level 3
    • Level 5
    • Level 7
    • Level 9

Dendro Traveler: Memory of Flourishing Green

Dendro alignment requires Memory of Flourishing Green for constellation development. Collection methods include:

  • One from completing Chapter III Act II: "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings"
  • Another from Chapter III Act IV: "King Deshret and the Three Magi"
  • A third reward from Chapter III Act V quest "Where the Boat of Consciousness Lies" within "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises"
  • Three additional copies from Sumeru Statue of the Seven upgrades:
    • One at Level 3
    • One at Level 5
    • One at Level 7

Hydro Traveler: Memory of Running Stream

Fontaine's Hydro alignment requires Memory of Running Stream for constellation enhancement. Acquisition sources:

  • One reward from Archon Quest Chapter IV Act II: "As Light Rain Falls Without Reason"
  • Second copy from Act IV: "Cataclysm's Quickening"
  • Third from Act V: "Masquerade of the Guilty"
  • Three more from Fontaine Statue of the Seven upgrades:
    • One at Level 3
    • One at Level 5
    • One at Level 7

Pyro Traveler: Blazing Flint Ore

Breaking from the "Memory of..." naming convention, Pyro-aligned Travelers use Blazing Flint Ore for constellation upgrades. These are exclusively obtained through tribal reputation rewards by reaching maximum reputation (level 4) with each of Natlan's six tribes. Currently, five tribes are available as the Collective of Plenty remains unreleased, limiting current acquisition to five Blazing Flint Ores.

Available tribes currently offering Blazing Flint Ore rewards:

  • Children of Echoes
  • People of the Springs
  • Flower-Feather Clan
  • Masters of the Night-Wind
  • Scions of the Canopy

Tribal reputation accumulates through various activities including World Quests, Tribal Chronicle questlines, exploration progress, weekly bounties, and supply notice requests. Note that tribal reputation rewards only become accessible after completing Chapter V: Act I (Natlan's Archon Quest) "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn." Monitor each tribe's reputation level through their respective Obsidian Totem Pole or nearby reputation representatives.
