Genshin Unveils Puzzling Beetle Brawl in New Event

Dive into Genshin Impact's Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl! This limited-time event in Version 5.3 challenges you to beetle battles. This guide covers all five battles for a smooth victory.

Entry Requirements:

To participate, you need:

• Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
• Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context, as Shuyu features in this quest.

Gameplay:

The event is simple: use your Onikabuto beetle in simulated battles (within your Teapot at Mt. Aocang) against various foes. Controls are intuitive: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Mastering timing and stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Stronger attacks, like Piercing Strike (hold the attack button), require more.

Here's a breakdown of each battle:

• Stage 1: A basic Hilichurl. Focus on headshots, dodging its attacks indicated by ground markings.
• Stage 2: A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Target the Berserker's head; the Slime is also a weak point, especially during its throw animation.
• Stage 3: A Pyro Abyss Mage. Interrupt its fire spellcasting, then attack.
• Stage 4: A Cryo Abyss Mage. Use the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
• Stage 5: A Stonehide Lawachurl. Attack swiftly, dodging its attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use Piercing Strike for maximum damage.

Difficulty and Strategy:

Choose "Focused Fight" (two-star difficulty) for optimal Primogem rewards (30 and 20, depending on the stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Utilize Piercing Strikes strategically. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy attack patterns.

Co-op mode is available; select "Match" to team up with others.

Rewards:

Complete all stages on Focused Fight for a significant Primogem haul. Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore. Utmost Might offers greater rewards but no Primogems.
