GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM’s Gacha System: A Comprehensive Guide

GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM, the highly anticipated sequel, introduces a revamped Gacha system central to character and weapon acquisition. This guide details the mechanics and banner types.

Understanding the Gacha Mechanics

The Gacha system uses a randomized loot box mechanic. Players use in-game currency (various types exist, including event-specific currencies) to summon characters (T-dolls) and weapons. Summoning rates are as follows:

  • SSR T-dolls/Weapons: 0.3%
  • SR T-dolls/Weapons: 3%

All banners offer a mixed pool of T-dolls and weapons. Let's explore the banner types:

Beginner Procurement Banner

Designed for new players, this banner offers a guaranteed SSR character within 50 pulls, thanks to a pity system. The pity system ensures an SSR within the final ten pulls if one hasn't already been obtained.

Specific rates for this banner are:

  • SSR T-dolls: 0.6%
  • SR T-dolls/Weapons: 6%

Pity mechanics also include:

  • Guaranteed SR T-doll or weapon every 10 pulls.
  • Guaranteed SSR T-doll every 80 pulls.
  • Second SSR pull guaranteed to be the rate-up character (hard pity at 160 pulls).
  • Soft pity starts at the 58th pull.

Pity does not carry over to other banners.
