A former Rockstar Games developer offers insights into the highly anticipated GTA 6, predicting a phenomenal fan response upon its release.
Hinchliffe emphasized the game's advancements, stating that he's seen "how much things have changed" from his time at Rockstar. He confirmed the game's anticipated setting in Vice City and the crime-filled adventure it promises, as previously revealed in the official trailer. Scheduled for a Fall 2025 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, details about GTA 6 remain scarce. However, Hinchliffe assures fans that the game represents a significant leap forward for Rockstar.
"Rockstar's games consistently evolve," he explained. "Each iteration enhances realism, refining character behavior and interactions. GTA 6 raises the bar, continuing this trend."
Since Hinchliffe's departure three years ago, GTA 6 has undoubtedly undergone extensive refinement, including bug fixing and performance optimization. Hinchliffe believes Rockstar is currently focused on polishing the game to perfection.
Regarding fan expectations, Hinchliffe predicts an overwhelmingly positive response, emphasizing the game's unparalleled realism. "It'll blow people away and sell incredibly well," he stated. "Fans have eagerly awaited its release since GTA 5, and I'm thrilled for them to finally experience it."
