Hinchliffe, a contributor to several Rockstar titles including GTA 6, GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, and L.A. Noire, expressed confidence in the game's development. He highlighted the significant evolution of the game's content and storyline since his departure.

Hinchliffe emphasized the game's advancements, stating that he's seen "how much things have changed" from his time at Rockstar. He confirmed the game's anticipated setting in Vice City and the crime-filled adventure it promises, as previously revealed in the official trailer. Scheduled for a Fall 2025 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, details about GTA 6 remain scarce. However, Hinchliffe assures fans that the game represents a significant leap forward for Rockstar.
