Exciting news for fans of Japanese RPGs! The popular turn-based game, Heaven Burns Red, is officially coming to a global audience! Yostar announced the English version at Anime Expo 2024, complete with a reveal trailer.
While a release date remains unconfirmed, the Anime Expo announcement suggests we'll have more details soon. We're hoping for a simultaneous launch on iOS, Android, and Steam, with cross-progression for seamless gameplay across devices.
Originally released in Japan in February 2022 by Wright Flyer Studios and Key, Heaven Burns Red quickly gained popularity and critical acclaim, even earning a "Best Game" award at the Google Play Best of 2022 awards.
The game's creative director is the renowned Jun Maeda, known for his work on acclaimed titles like Little Busters! and Clannad. Expect a captivating storyline! For those unfamiliar, the game centers on a group of powerful female characters, humanity's last hope, fighting against mysterious creatures called Phage. The protagonist is Ruka Kayamori, a former member of the disbanded band "She Is Legend."
