Warhorse Studios is preparing a grueling hardcore mode for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. A recent Discord announcement revealed that a select group of 100 volunteer testers are currently evaluating this challenging new feature. Recruitment has closed, signaling the mode's imminent completion.

Details remain scarce, but players can anticipate a difficulty level comparable to, or exceeding, the first game's notoriously difficult hardcore mode. Kingdom Come: Deliverance's hardcore mode famously restricted saving, amplified enemy damage, complicated navigation, reduced rewards, and introduced negative character traits.
