Honkai: Star Rail's January 15th Update: Journey to Amphoreus!

Get ready for a new year, and a new adventure! MiHoYo's Honkai: Star Rail is launching a major expansion on January 15th, promising a fresh start and exciting new content.

This expansion kicks off a brand-new chapter, transporting players to the enigmatic planet Amphoreus. The Trailblazer's mission unfolds across two expansive parts (versions 3.0 to 3.7), touted by MiHoYo as the game's most extensive yet.

Following events on Penacony, the Astral Express seeks to replenish Trailblaze Fuel and lands on Amphoreus, a planet cloaked in mystery and a chaotic vortex, defying external observation. Its inhabitants are seemingly unaware of the wider universe, setting the stage for a unique and challenging exploration experience.

Unraveling the Secrets of Amphoreus

Players won't face this challenge alone. The update introduces three new playable characters: Herta, Aglaea, and the Remembrance Trailblazer. Familiar faces will also return throughout the expansion, with limited five-star characters Lingsha Feixiao and Jade making a comeback in the first half, alongside Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf in the second.

MiHoYo's commitment to Honkai: Star Rail is evident, especially considering the successful launch of Zenless Zone Zero last year. With this new expansion, Hoyoverse clearly aims to make each of its titles a standout experience in 2024.
