HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero maintains its mobile gaming dominance with the Version 1.4 update "And the Starfall Came," achieving a new revenue milestone of $8.6 million in daily mobile spending - surpassing its previous record set during the July 2024 launch.
Mobile revenue for Zenless Zone Zero has now exceeded $265 million according to AppMagic data. The 1.4 update introduced new agents Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, alongside gameplay enhancements, fresh locations, and additional modes that boosted player spending.
The limited-time banner for Hoshimi Miyabi significantly contributed to the revenue surge, while Harumasa was offered as a free promotional character to all players.
Update 1.4 demonstrated exceptional player retention, breaking HoYoverse's typical spending patterns. While revenue usually declines within a week post-update, this version maintained over $1 million daily for 11 consecutive days and remained above $500,000 after two weeks.
Despite these achievements, Zenless Zone Zero still trails behind HoYoverse's flagship titles Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail in terms of overall performance.
