Krafton, the developer behind inZOI, has set the bar high for system specs to guarantee an optimal gaming experience. On March 12, 2025, they published the system requirements and optimal settings on their official website, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High.

At the minimum level, inZOI requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 for graphics, paired with an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. This is a significant jump from the system requirements of EA's Sims 4, which only needs an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton justified this by stating, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, necessitating higher system specifications for smooth performance."

For recommended settings, the game calls for an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800, along with an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 CPU. The highest settings demand an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 for graphics, and an Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D for the CPU.

Given the impressive visuals showcased in inZOI's trailers, which leverage the power of Unreal Engine 5, these requirements are not surprising. Although Krafton has plans to bring the game to PS5 and Xbox, as mentioned on inZOI's official Discord, the game's high PC specs suggest that console versions may require further optimization.

Graphics Comparison Across System Specs

Krafton has released a video that compares the graphics quality across the different system specifications. The video highlights variations in lighting, textures, and color, with the highest PC specs delivering the most visually stunning experience.

While these demanding requirements might limit inZOI's initial player base compared to competitors like Sims 4, Krafton is committed to broadening accessibility. They stated, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we remain dedicated to making inZOI accessible to more players."
