The second set of Midnight Features II challenges in Marvel Rivals stars the bushy-tailed hero, Squirrel Girl. While some tasks are straightforward—like racking up damage as the furry Duelist—one challenge requires a bit more finesse: rescuing Ratatoskr in Central Park. Here's how to do it.
To conquer these Midnight Features II challenges and claim your rewards, you'll need to know your Asgardian squirrels. While the in-game investigation might paint Squirrel Girl in a villainous light, Ratatoskr is actually a mischievous Asgardian beast disguised as a squirrel. Historically a messenger for Asgard, Ratatoskr has a penchant for escape and causing a bit of mayhem.
This time, Ratatoskr finds herself in Dracula's New York, needing a helping paw (or claw?). You're the hero tasked with her rescue, but successfully freeing her requires some strategy.
Central Park, much like Midtown in Season 1, is the special map for Season 1.5. Unlike other Quick Match and Competitive locations, you can select Central Park whenever you choose. However, rescuing Ratatoskr five times quickly requires a bit of luck.
Whether attacking or defending, you'll spot a giant chained squirrel—that's Ratatoskr—in the map's center. To free her, you must be on the attacking team. Central Park functions like a Convoy map; your team needs to reach Ratatoskr and fill her release meter. But that's only half the battle—you then need to escort her to the map's opposite side to win.
This requires multiple attempts, as team assignment is random. You'll need to play Central Park repeatedly until you successfully free Ratatoskr five times. Remember, both Central Park mode and the Midnight Features II challenges are time-limited, so don't delay! Fortunately, other Midnight Features II quests can be tackled concurrently.
That's how to rescue Ratatoskr in Central Park in Marvel Rivals. Need more help? Check out our counters for all characters in this hero shooter.
