Marvel's Contest Heats Up with Spooky Halloween Update

Marvel Contest of Champions is stepping up its game for Halloween. This year, they’ve brought out all the spooky vibes with new characters, giving you more reasons to dive back into The Battlerealm. And it’s also part of their ongoing 10th Anniversary.

The Halloween Event Is Now In Full Swing In Marvel Contest of Champions

The update is full of creepy characters and crazy challenges. Two new champions are joining the fight. They are Scream and Jack O’ Lantern. You already know Scream, a symbiote with a grudge. Jack O’ Lantern has a backstory that is as dark as his name. He has a habit of turning his victims into eerie jack-o-lanterns.

Both these characters are set to make the House of Horrors event extra thrilling. You’ll join Jessica Jones on a mission to unravel a dark mystery that leads to a creepy carnival filled with animatronic nightmares.

Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt is in full motion where Jack O’ Lantern invites warriors to duke it out, gladiator-style. This side quest is packed with weekly challenges where you can explore different paths. Well, Jack has a blast as everyone else tries to survive. This event is running from October 9th to November 6th.

It’s Also Their 10th Anniversary

This Halloween takeover is also wrapped up with the 10th Anniversary celebration of Marvel Contest of Champions. Kabam is marking a decade of action with 10 glorious reveals for the game. They’ve already kicked things off with reworks for Medusa and Purgatory.

Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza brings an Alliance Super Season, where you can team up with other players for bounty missions. There’s also Venom-themed content as part of the celebrations, including the Venom: Last Dance event. It’s running from October 21st to November 15th.

And the Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is on right now until October 30th. It has some cool new features that give an advantage based on buffs and critical hits.

60 FPS Is Coming Soon!

Kabam has also introduced a 60 FPS gameplay update, making the action smoother than ever. It’s set to roll out in November. It’s November 4th, to be precise. The game currently has an fps locked at 30.
