Monster Hunter Now Tests New Monster Outbreaks Feature

Excitement is building in the world of Monster Hunter Now as Niantic introduces a new feature called Monster Outbreaks. This is currently in the testing phase, where player feedback will be crucial in fine-tuning the feature before its official release.

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

The testing for Monster Outbreaks is scheduled for April 26th and 27th. Each day, the event will run twice: from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., according to local time. During these windows, specific outbreak points on the map will be swarmed with 8-star Black Diablos. The objective is to collaborate with other players to defeat 100 of these formidable creatures at each outbreak location within the one-hour timeframe.

To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Note that you can't use the party feature; only in-person group hunts will count towards the goal. Outbreak points are easily identifiable on the map with a unique icon, and tapping on them will provide more details. A sign-up roster at each location allows you to coordinate with other players on when you'll be hunting.

The challenge is engaging: if you and three other hunters take down a single Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the 100 needed. Should you reach this target before the hour is up, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the time.

Rewards await successful groups. Achieving the 100-monster goal grants each participant 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster qualifies you for a special Outbreak Test I Medal.

If you're eager to join the action, download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and take part in the Monster Outbreaks testing this weekend.
