Monster Hunter Wilds Developers Share Console Specs, PC Spec Adjustments, and More in Pre-Launch Update

Capcom recently released a pre-launch community update video for Monster Hunter Wilds, detailing console performance targets, weapon adjustments, and a potential second open beta test. The video, featuring director Yuya Tokuda and other staff, addressed player feedback following the Open Beta Test (OBT).

Console Performance: A Look at PS5, Xbox Series X|S

The update confirmed performance modes for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X:

  • Prioritize Graphics: 4K resolution at 30fps.
  • Prioritize Framerate: 1080p resolution at 60fps.

Xbox Series S will run natively at 1080p resolution and 30fps. A rendering bug affecting the framerate mode has been resolved, resulting in improved performance. While enhanced graphics are promised for the PS5 Pro version at launch, specific details remain undisclosed.

PC Specs: Lower Minimum Requirements Incoming
