Capcom's highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, set to revolutionize the franchise, unveils a post-launch content roadmap. Here's a breakdown of the first major update.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1: Mizutsune, Quests, and More
Title Update 1, launching alongside the game's February 27th release, introduces the fan-favorite Mizutsune. This aquatic dragon-type monster, known for its bubble-based attacks and striking pink and purple coloration, promises challenging hunts and stylish gear. The update will also include new Event Quests, offering additional challenges and rewards accessible via the in-game Mission Board. Further unspecified updates are planned, potentially addressing optimization or bug fixes.
Summer 2025: Title Update 2 and Beyond
A second Title Update is scheduled for Summer 2025, featuring another new monster (identity currently undisclosed) and additional Event Quests. The future beyond these two updates remains unconfirmed, but Capcom's commitment suggests further content is likely.
