Compared to other handhelds, the Switch 2's display would be 45% larger diagonally and 111% larger in surface area than the Switch Lite's 5.5-inch LCD touchscreen. Against the Switch OLED's 7-inch display, the Switch 2 would be 14% larger diagonally and 30% larger in total area.

In the current landscape of portable gaming, the Switch 2's screen size would surpass even the largest Steam Deck screen. The original Steam Deck and the Steam Deck OLED feature 7-inch and 7.4-inch displays, respectively, with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
