Eleven Puzzles' cooperative puzzler, Parallel Experiment, has been delayed. Initially slated for a March Steam release, the game will now launch on June 5th, simultaneously on Steam, Android, and iOS. This delay allows for the inclusion of all planned content, including optional puzzles and additional mechanics, originally considered for cutbacks to meet the earlier deadline. Cross-play functionality will be available from launch.
Players take on the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog, embroiled in a sinister experiment orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer. Success hinges on collaborative puzzle-solving, requiring teamwork and communication to navigate over 80 interconnected challenges.
The game features a captivating noir-inspired setting and comic book art style. Puzzles range from deciphering codes and manipulating water systems to hacking computers and even dealing with an intoxicated individual.
Beyond the core gameplay, players can engage in retro-style mini-games like darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, all with a cooperative twist. Interactive dialogue with dynamic NPC responses adds depth to the narrative, while playful features allow for lighthearted interactions, such as screen-shaking or notebook doodling, between partners.
Parallel Experiment boasts five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous title, promising a significantly enhanced cooperative experience. The June 5th release date applies to all platforms. Visit the Steam page for further details.
