Pokemon TCG Pocket introduces new Chimchar-themed accessories with second part of Wonder Pick event

The second part of the latest Wonder Pick event in Pokémon TCG Pocket is now in full swing, offering fans a fresh array of exciting rewards and challenges. Running until February 21st, this event brings new Chimchar-themed accessories and a Poke Ball avatar icon, along with engaging missions to complete for those looking to enhance their collection.

If you're a fan of Chimchar, you're in for a treat. This event allows you to acquire a Chimchar Pokémon coin, card sleeve, and playmat, showcasing its evolutions, Monferno and Infernape. While Chimchar may not rank among my personal top favorites, these items are a must-have for any enthusiast of the fiery primate. For those less enthused by flaming monkeys, the Poke Ball icon might catch your eye. Though I find it a bit mundane, it's an essential staple in any deck, making it a fitting choice for an avatar. Personally, I'll continue to sport my knitted Electrode avatar until something more captivating comes along.

It's Monkey Business in Pokémon TCG Pocket

The missions set for this event are straightforward and achievable. To complete them, you need to conduct six Wonder Picks and collect 10 Fire and Psychic-Type Pokémon. Each Wonder Pick earns you 100 Trade Tokens, and fulfilling the other missions will grant you various amounts of Event Shop Tickets. With determination and a well-stocked supply of Wonder Hourglasses, you can quickly secure these rewards. Even if you're joining the event late, don't worry—all the goodies from the first part, including a Chimchar backdrop and cover, a Cave of Crystals backdrop, and promo cards featuring Chimchar and the adorable Togepi, remain available until February 21st.
