Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exhilarating Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, set to launch on March 6th, 2025. Niantic has provided a detailed preview of what players can expect from this upcoming season, including new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and an array of new monsters to battle.
As a prelude to Season 5, players can look forward to the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This monster will make its grand debut in Monster Hunter Now before its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When Season 5 officially kicks off, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the roster of huntable creatures.
The weapons in Monster Hunter Now are set to receive balance adjustments to enhance their viability and fun factor. The Sword & Shield will see a significant buff, making it easier to target breakable parts such as tails. Additionally, the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward players with stronger performance for well-timed taps, resulting in more satisfying combos.
The Guard skill is also receiving a much-needed upgrade. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will significantly reduce the damage taken when blocking. More details on these and other tweaks will be available in the full patch notes on March 6th.
If managing your inventory has been a hassle, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 offers a solution. An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 slots to help you organize your gear more effectively.
To celebrate Monster Hunter Now’s 1.5-Year Anniversary, a new feature will be introduced on March 17th. This feature will allow players to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for exciting rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
Prepare for the new season by downloading Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and immersing yourself in the thrilling world of monster hunting.
