Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is leaving Netflix Games. Developer Yacht Club Games announced the news, stating they are exploring future options for the game. Don't worry, though – it will remain available on other platforms like Steam, Switch, and PlayStation 4.
This departure follows the recent positive news of Squid Game: Unleashed becoming free-to-play. While Yacht Club is exploring additional distribution avenues, a swift mobile release isn't guaranteed. The removal highlights a key risk of subscription gaming services: players have even less control over their games than with typical digital purchases. The game's future availability depends entirely on the developer's choices.
With Yacht Club likely having open options, we might see Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon return in 2025. Until then, plenty of other games are available; check out our top five new mobile games list for alternatives!
