Sony has rolled out new updates for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, enhancing various features and improving overall system performance.
For PS5 users, the update version 25.02-11.00.00, which is approximately 1.3GB in size, brings several improvements. One of the key enhancements is to the activities feature, where activity details are now fully displayed on cards, with potential spoilers cleverly hidden to maintain the excitement of your gaming experience. Additionally, this update introduces support for Unicode 16.0 emojis, allowing for more expressive communication within messages.
There are also updates to parental controls. When setting the restriction level to Late Teens or Older, the Communication and User-Generated Content setting will automatically default to Restrict. However, if you've previously set this level, your settings will remain as Customize, ensuring your preferences are preserved.
As always, Sony has focused on improving the system software's performance and stability, along with enhancing messages and usability on various screens.
