Gathering the Runekeys:

Obtaining Thrayir requires collecting five unique Runekeys:

• Whirling Runekey: This key drops from Ksvir the Forgotten, a rare spawn found in the Forgotten Vault's southernmost chamber only during a Storm event.

• Torrential Runekey: Collect seven Torrential Fragments from any enemy on Siren Isle during a Storm phase.

• Thunderous Runekey: Gather five Thunderous Fragments from chests located across Siren Isle. Unlike other fragments, these chests aren't restricted to Storm areas.

• Cyclonic Runekey: This key is obtained through fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm phase or as a potential drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in Deadfin Mire.

• Turbulent Runekey: Locate three Turbulent Fragments at these specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:

  • Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
  • Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone (the ghost is cowering).
  • Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave (the ghost offers the fragment).

The Final Ritual:

With all five Runekeys in hand, return to the Forgotten Vault during the Seafury Tempest phase only. Other phases will not trigger the ritual. Proceed to the eastern chamber of the vault.
