If you've chosen to play as a Rogue in Baldur's Gate 3, you've made a great choice. These devious and stealthy characters are incredibly effective in the game, capable of dealing substantial damage. Let's explore the best feats for enhancing your Rogue's abilities in BG3.
Here are the top ten feats that can elevate your Rogue's performance:

Sharpshooter is a game-changing feat for Rogues who excel at ranged combat. This feat allows you to disregard cover, extend your attack range, and increase your attack damage by 10, albeit with a -5 penalty to hit. With Sharpshooter, your Rogue transforms into a lethal sniper, capable of striking targets with pinpoint accuracy and devastating force, making it an essential choice for optimizing ranged combat effectiveness.

The Skilled feat offers unparalleled versatility for Rogues, granting proficiency in any combination of three skills or tools. Whether you aim to master stealth, acrobatics, and sleight of hand, or become your party's expert locksmith, tracker, and appraiser, this feat enables you to customize your Rogue's skill set to suit your playstyle. Skilled significantly boosts your Rogue's adaptability and expertise, making them indispensable in diverse scenarios.

The Athlete feat enhances your Rogue's agility and finesse. It eliminates the extra movement cost for climbing and standing up from prone, and enables running jumps with only a 5-foot run-up. These enhancements make your Rogue more adept at navigating terrain, evading traps, and leaping over obstacles, ensuring they maintain grace and speed in any situation. Additionally, you receive a +1 bonus to either Strength or Dexterity.

While Rogues typically aim to avoid damage, it's nearly impossible to go unscathed in Baldur's Gate 3. Even the most stealthy Rogue will occasionally fail a roll or get caught in an area-of-effect attack. Given the high damage output of Rogues, ensuring their survival is crucial for winning battles. Tough, though not mandatory, significantly boosts your Rogue's hit points, enhancing their survivability. Combined with a Rogue's natural evasiveness, this feat makes them incredibly resilient.

For Rogues favoring a hit-and-run approach, Mobile is an excellent choice. It allows you to swiftly move in for a devastating strike and then retreat without repercussions. It's also advantageous in ranged combat, enabling you to snipe an enemy and then quickly reposition out of their reach.

Avoiding surprise is crucial for Rogues, as being ambushed can lead to a quick demise, especially without feats like Tough to bolster your defenses. The Alert feat helps keep your Rogue safe by enhancing their initiative, ensuring they act early in combat and maintain their valuable damage per second (DPS).

Baldur's Gate 3 is filled with traps, locked doors, and chests. The Dungeon Delver feat enhances your Rogue's innate talent for dealing with these challenges. It allows you to detect most traps before triggering them, disarm them effortlessly, and navigate through locks with ease. This feat is a quality-of-life enhancement that makes your Rogue's life outside of combat much smoother.

Crossbow Expert is my top pick for Rogues. If you haven't yet tried wielding a crossbow in Baldur's Gate 3, you're missing out on a powerful damage dealer. With this feat, your Rogue can ignore melee range restrictions, enabling sneak attacks with a crossbow at close quarters. Your sneak attacks also deal more damage at all ranges, adding to the thematic and badass appeal of a crossbow-wielding Rogue.

Lucky is a versatile feat that benefits any class and build in BG3. You receive three Luck Points, which you can use to gain an advantage on Attack Rolls, Ability Checks, or Saving Throws, increasing your chances of success. Additionally, you can use a Luck Point to force an enemy to reroll their attack, potentially turning a hit into a miss. Since these points refresh after each Long Rest, you can use them liberally.

For Rogues focusing on melee combat, Savage Attacker is a must-have feat. When making a melee attack, you roll the damage dice twice and use the higher result. Combined with your Rogue's sneak attacks, this feat allows you to deal significant damage consistently, even when a sneak attack isn't possible.
These feats will transform your Baldur's Gate 3 Rogue into a formidable force, capable of dealing and withstanding substantial damage. If you have a different loadout, I'd love to hear about it. Meanwhile, for more tips on enhancing your survival in the game, explore our comprehensive guides.
