A Ubisoft employee's LinkedIn profile hints at the company's next "AAAA" title currently in development. Let's delve into the details surrounding this potentially massive project.
A recent X (formerly Twitter) post by user Timur222 highlights a Junior Sound Designer at Ubisoft Indian Studios' LinkedIn profile. The profile, showcasing a year and ten months of employment, reveals a key detail within the job description: "Responsible for creating Sound design, SFX and foley for the unannounced AAA and AAAA game projects."
While specifics remain undisclosed, the mention of "AAAA" projects is significant. This classification, introduced by Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot during the launch of Skull and Bones, denotes games with exceptionally large budgets and extensive development cycles. Despite its "AAAA" designation, Skull and Bones received a mixed critical reception.
This new revelation suggests Ubisoft remains committed to its "AAAA" ambition, implying future titles will mirror Skull and Bones' production scale and scope.
