New Pokémon Sleep Companions: Sneasel and Weavile!

Pokémon Sleep players have a treat! As of December 3rd, Sneasel and Weavile are available to befriend. This guide explains how.

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile

Given their Ice/Dark typing in the main series, Sneasel and Weavile appear in Snowdrop Tundra in Pokémon Sleep. However, they're classified as Dark-type only within the game.

Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, making them accessible to all players, regardless of Snowdrop Tundra unlock status. Use an EZ Travel Ticket to switch islands if needed.

Sleep Types

Both Sneasel and Weavile possess the Dozing sleep type. Increasing your chances of encountering them requires setting your sleep type to Dozing. Sneasel is easier to find initially; evolve it into Weavile using 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. Note that you'll still need to find Weavile in the wild for Sleep Research data.

Are They Good Pokémon?

Sneasel's value lies in its Dark-type status, enabling Wiki Berry collection, particularly beneficial in Snowdrop Tundra. It also provides an "Extra Tasty" boost to dishes. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items.

Sneasel Debut Bundle

For a guaranteed Sneasel during its debut week, consider the Pokémon Befriending Bundle (Sneasel) Vol. 1.
