Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 faces yet another delay, with a new release window set for October 2025. Dive in to discover the latest developments and the game's history of postponements.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back once more, now aiming for October 2025. The official announcement came via the game's Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insights into the current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been actively sharing Dev Diaries over recent months, detailing aspects like characters, stories, and mechanics. However, these updates will be paused to allow the development team to focus on enhancing the game's overall quality.
Originally announced in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially set for a March 2020 launch. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game saw its first delay in October 2019, shifting to an unspecified date in 2020, and then to 2021.
During this period, the project saw several key personnel departures. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, with development duties handed over to The Chinese Room. Subsequent delays pushed the expected release from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is slated for release in October 2025 across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Keep an eye on our updates for the latest news on this highly anticipated title!
