Varlamore Rises in Old School RuneScape: Darkness Descends

Old School RuneScape's latest chapter, Varlamore: The Rising Darkness, is now live! Explore expanded northern regions and conquer thrilling new challenges in this massive update.

New Adventures Await:

First, brave the Hailstorm Mountains and confront Hueycoatl, a colossal serpent. Team up with unexpected allies—members of the Dwarven Party and a priest—to defeat this formidable beast. Victory yields incredible rewards, including the Tome of Earth, the Dragon Hunter Wand (the first magic-infused dragonbane weapon!), and the Hueycoatl Hide Armour.

Beyond the icy peaks lies Aldarin Island, a haven for Herblore enthusiasts. Cultivate, blend, and master alchemical creations using a variety of new herbs.

Need a change of pace? Tackle the Colossal Wyrm Agility Course! Help Worm Tongue, an elderly anteater, battle a termite infestation threatening the Wyrm's remains. Earn Agility XP and fantastic rewards, such as the Varlamore Graceful Recolour and a skeletal transmog for your Squirrel pet.
