Kemco has just released a captivating new visual novel, exclusively for Android, titled "Together We Live." This immersive experience is set in a post-apocalyptic world and delves into profound themes of human sins and the quest for atonement. Notably, the game is also available on Steam for PC enthusiasts.
The narrative centers around Kyoya, the protagonist, whose journey begins in an unconventional manner. He awakens in a dimly lit room, bewildered to find that it's the year 4000—almost 2000 years beyond his last memory. The Earth has transformed into a desolate wasteland, and Kyoya encounters a mysterious girl who is his sole companion in this new reality.
This seemingly random girl is on a mission of immense significance. She is trapped in a relentless cycle of death and rebirth, each iteration an attempt to atone for humanity's sins. Her plight, enduring countless deaths, is both brutal and heart-wrenching. As Kyoya witnesses her struggle, he is moved to teach her about the concept of happiness, providing a glimmer of hope amidst the despair.
The story's pacing may initially feel slow, but patience is rewarded as it gains momentum. The narrative unfolds with unexpected twists, turns, and previously overlooked details that significantly enhance the storytelling experience.

Unlike many visual novels, "Together We Live" does not involve player choices, offering a linear yet deeply engaging story. The artwork is simple yet charming, complementing the mix of beauty and sorrow that permeates the narrative. The hauntingly effective voice acting of the girl adds depth and emotion to the experience.
Currently, the game is available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, but it does not support controllers. You can purchase "Together We Live" on the Google Play Store for $9.99. If you're a Play Pass subscriber, you can enjoy this compelling tale at no additional cost.
