Blizzard has unveiled exciting new details about the upcoming in-game housing system for *World of Warcraft: Midnight*. Although the expansion is slated for release following *The War Within* as part of the Worldsoul saga, early previews indicate that the customization options will exceed many players' expectations.
A recent developer blog showcased in-game videos demonstrating the furniture placement mechanics. The system utilizes a grid for alignment with automatic snapping, allowing players to effortlessly arrange their spaces. Moreover, larger objects such as shelves or tables can be adorned with smaller accessories that remain attached when repositioned.
The housing system offers two distinct modes: a Basic Mode designed for easy organization and an Advanced Mode tailored for creative builders. In Advanced Mode, users have the freedom to rotate objects along all three axes and stack them in innovative ways, facilitating the creation of intricate and visually appealing interiors.

A standout feature is the ability to scale furniture, catering to the varied sizes of different characters. This means gnomes can craft more intimate, cozy environments, while larger races like tauren can design more expansive layouts. Additionally, select pieces of furniture developed specifically for this system will allow for recoloring, although older assets might not support this feature.
With *Midnight* still months from release, Blizzard is keeping the community engaged by teasing upcoming content, building anticipation for the game's future updates.
