Instead, players can zoom through the city using D.R.I.V.E., a dynamic and customizable car-like mount that surpasses the speed of Skyriding. World of Warcraft confirmed the introduction of Breakneck races, designed to maximize the potential of the D.R.I.V.E. system.

In addition to the Breakneck races, Skyrocket races introduce a novel challenge where players navigate the skies using Goblin jetpacks. This new form of movement blends elements of both existing flying mechanics: players can't stop mid-air like in Steady flight, yet they maintain momentum and altitude unlike in Skyriding. Breakneck races are available, although there are no Advanced or Challenge courses akin to those found in Skyriding races.
