Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are straightforward and highly rewarding, especially if you're aiming to gather additional resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Here's a concise guide on how these puzzles function, their locations, and the steps to solve them.

Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

To restore Morph Paintings, simply locate the appropriate painting and place it on the designated pedestal. Pay close attention to the descriptions on the pedestals, which will guide you to the correct portrait. Use your Levitator utility to return the painting to its proper spot. The game typically auto-equips the Levitator, but if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab/D-Pad Left.

Currently, there are two such paintings in the game, linked to the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

During the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, you'll explore the three towers at Thorncrown in Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower hosts a Morph Painting puzzle. To crack it, follow these steps (using the central large painting as your guide):

• Swap the paintings in the front-left and back-right positions.
• Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
• Place the painting behind the chairs on the right into the front-right position.

Upon completing the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the quest.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

The Trials of Old quest requires you to tackle four distinct challenges near Porto-Veno Castle, located in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, you'll encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. Your task is to arrange the paintings on the pedestals to narrate a story from left to right. Refer to the image above for the solution.

A helpful tip to ensure you're placing the correct Morph Painting is to watch for the painting frame lighting up upon insertion. This visual cue can help you bypass the puzzle's mechanics effortlessly.
