Following reported delays in the Xbox certification process, Microsoft has issued an apology to Jyamma Games for their debut title, Enotria: The Last Song. This follows a period of over two months where Jyamma Games claims their submission was ignored.
Microsoft's Apology and Jyamma Games' Response
The delay prompted Jyamma Games to announce an indefinite postponement of the Xbox release. Jyamma CEO, Jacky Greco, expressed frustration on Discord, questioning Microsoft's lack of response. However, following Microsoft's apology, Jyamma Games expressed gratitude on Twitter (X), specifically thanking Phil Spencer and his team for their swift response and assistance. They also acknowledged the significant support from their player community.
Jyamma Games confirmed they are now actively collaborating with Microsoft to expedite the Xbox release, though a concrete date remains unannounced. Greco further elaborated on the Discord server, stating that Microsoft had apologized for the oversight and are working towards a resolution.

Challenges in Xbox Releases
Jyamma Games isn't alone in facing Xbox release challenges. Funcom recently reported optimization issues porting Dune: Awakening to the Xbox Series S. While the PS5 and PC versions of Enotria: The Last Song are still slated for September 19th, the Xbox release date remains uncertain.
