Gameplay:

Each player starts with 13 cards. The player holding the 3 of Spades begins the first round. Subsequent rounds begin with the winner of the previous round, playing any valid card combination. Players must play a higher-ranking set or pass. Passing forces subsequent passes until the round ends (three players pass). The last player to play starts the next round. The game concludes when a player exhausts their hand.

Card Sets and Values:

Valid card combinations include:

• Single: One card
• Pair: Two cards of the same rank
• Triple: Three cards of the same rank
• Quadruple: Four cards of the same rank (special)
• Series: Three or more consecutive cards
• Double Series: Six or more consecutive pairs (special)

Card rank order: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A, 2. Suit order: Spades (highest), Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts. Sets are compared by their highest-ranking card.

Special Rules:

The 2 (Deuce or Pig) is the highest card. These special sets can beat deuces:

• A six-card Double Series beats a single Deuce.
• A Quadruple beats a six-card Double Series, single Deuce, or Deuce pair.
• An eight-card Double Series beats a Quadruple, six-card Double Series, single Deuce, or Deuce pair.
