Alien: Rogue Incursion Upgraded for PS5, PC; No Xbox Version Yet

Exciting news for fans of the Alien franchise: Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One is getting an enhanced version, and you won't need a VR headset to enjoy it. The Evolved Edition is set to launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025, featuring "even deadlier Xenomorphs and enhanced visuals." You can start wishlisting this non-VR edition today on Steam and PlayStation.

The original game made its debut on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, followed by a release on Meta Quest 3 in February. Developed and published by Survios, the new Evolved Edition of Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One will be available at $29.99 for the standard edition, while the Digital Deluxe edition will cost $39.99.

Set between the iconic films Alien and Aliens, Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One plunges players into a thrilling mission on the planet Purdan (LV-354). Players join Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, as they search for a former squadmate. After a sudden attack, they find themselves navigating the eerie and abandoned Castor’s Cradle research facility run by Gemini Exoplanet Solutions. Expect intense action, terrifying encounters with Xenomorphs, and a deep, mysterious storyline.

IGN's review of the VR version awarded it a 7/10, noting, "Alien: Rogue Incursion is a compelling first crack at bringing Alien to VR with lots of room to grow."
