What Can You Do After You Finish Assassin’s Creed Shadows? Answered

After completing the main quest, Assassin’s Creed Shadows offers a world brimming with side content. The expansive open world of Feudal Japan remains fully accessible, allowing you to delve deeper into its rich environment and complete any remaining side quests.

Moreover, post-launch, the Animus will introduce new weekly challenges, ensuring that even after achieving 100% completion, there's always something new to tackle.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

The story doesn't end with the credits. In my playthrough, the credits rolled after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe. However, to unlock the epilogue and the true ending, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro. After that, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko to witness the complete ending and earn the associated achievements.

Additionally, exclusive gear themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke becomes available near the game's end. These armor sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist’s playstyle and are a nod to nostalgic Assassin’s Creed fans.

As for endgame content, players can continue to level up to the game’s maximum level cap long after the credits roll.

What’s Next For Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

While the main story concludes at launch, Assassin’s Creed Shadows promises ongoing content. New items will be added to the store, and the Animus will continue to provide fresh challenges. Additionally, a story expansion titled The Claws of Awaji is set to release in 2025, offering over 10 hours of new content on the Island of Awaji.
