"Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Global Release Schedule Revealed"

Ubisoft has announced the global release schedule for the much-anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows, marking a significant departure from the traditional release strategy of the series and other Ubisoft titles. This time, there's a unified global release date, with no option for early access through additional payment.

Assassin's Creed Shadows will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S at 12am local time on March 20. However, PC gamers should note the varying release times depending on the platform: Steam or Ubisoft’s own platform, Ubi Connect. Pre-loading is currently available across all platforms, including Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

IGN’s review of Assassin’s Creed Shadows scored it an 8/10, praising the game for refining the open-world formula the series has been developing over the last decade. "By sharpening the edges of its existing systems, Assassin’s Creed Shadows creates one of the best versions of the open-world style it’s been honing for the last decade," the review concluded.
