On March 12, 2025, fans were treated to an image showcasing the front of a grand mansion. The mansion, part of the Liberty Falls setting, shows signs of intense battle with visible damage on its walls, flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and fires blazing from within.

The post's caption reads, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" accompanied by the "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a beloved character from the series with a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War, is set to return in this remake. The teaser image also confirms the map's setting in February 1991, aligning with the narrative from the previous map, The Tomb, suggesting a continuing storyline.

One of the most intriguing aspects of this new map is the absence of Amalgam enemies. Treyarch confirmed this on their Instagram account in response to a fan's comment about anticipating the challenge of facing "20 amalgams on this map too." The developers' reply was a simple "Nope." Known for their high HP and powerful attacks, the removal of Amalgams from this map could lead to a smoother gameplay experience, allowing players to enjoy the new setting without the added difficulty these elite enemies bring.
