The excitement continues in Pokemon TCG Pocket as the second part of the Blastoise Wonder Pick event kicks off, bringing with it a fresh batch of cosmetic rewards to enhance your gameplay experience. Dive into the event shop to discover new Blastoise-themed cosmetics, including a stylish Blastoise icon, a unique coin, eye-catching card sleeves, and an exclusive Blue and Blastoise playmat. These items are available for a limited time, so make sure to grab them before the event shop closes on January 28. Keep in mind, though, that event tickets will no longer be distributed after January 22, so log in frequently to maximize your rewards.
Following a bustling holiday season where Pokemon TCG Pocket generously distributed Pack Hourglasses and free boosters just for logging in, the game's event calendar has taken a brief pause. Many avid players have already completed their collections from the Mythical Island booster packs and are now eagerly anticipating the next expansion, rumored to launch by the end of January. The good news is that Pack Hourglasses can be used in future expansions, prompting many to save them up in anticipation.
In the meantime, the Blastoise Wonder Pick Event has been refreshed with new rewards, giving players another compelling reason to log in daily. The event shop now boasts an array of Blastoise-themed cosmetics, from the Blastoise icon to the Blue and Blastoise playmat. If you find yourself with extra event tickets, you can exchange them for up to 1,000 Shinedust, with each set of 50 Shinedust costing one event ticket. Remember, the second part of the event runs until January 22, but you can still access the event shop until January 28.
The first part of the current Wonder Pick Event, which started on January 6, introduced two new promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander. These cards maintain the same attack stats as their standard counterparts but boast unique artwork that adds a special touch to your collection. The rewards from the first part of the event, including a backdrop featuring the trainer Blue and a cover showcasing Blue and Blastoise, are still up for grabs. Additionally, new missions have been added, which can be completed by participating in special Wonder Pick choices.
By completing these missions, players can earn Event Shop Tickets. The missions involve participating in the Wonder Pick and collecting Fire-type and Water-type cards. For those who haven't yet joined in, missions from both parts of the event are cumulative, allowing you to work on them simultaneously. The Bonus Pick also offers Event Shop Tickets as rewards, making it easier to acquire all the items in the shop. Daily logins are highly recommended for those aiming to collect all Pokemon TCG Pocket promo cards, especially since the trade feature reportedly won't allow trading these limited cards.
